Women Making Change

Wondering how you can make change in your community? Get inspired at our film screening! We will be showing Erin Brockovich, the real story of a woman who took charge to make changes in her community. We hope to see you there!

Bring 1-2 bags of clean, gently used clothes you no longer wear. Then, you can swap them for something new to you! This is a great opportunity to reduce waste, support circular fashion, and connect with others who care about the planet.

Sustainable Sisters & Brother Nature

Looking for a fun way to end the summer? Join us for a social with Brother Nature at Wekiva Island! Be sure to pack a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, a towel, and a chair. We hope to see you there!

Bring your used clothing!

Need to freshen up some of your old clothes? Bring them to our upcycling workshop! You can embroider, patch, and mend your existing clothes to give them a new look. This is a great way to sustainably redesign your wardrobe!

Keep Our Lakes Clean

Join us on land or on water to clean up Lake Howell!

We are partnering with Central Florida Recon to remove solid waste from our local lakes. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, sunscreen, and bring a reusable water bottle. Register below for a kayak. Let’s keep our water clean – together!

Bring Your Own Clothing

Join us at A La Cart – Milk for an upcycling workshop! We will be hosting this event in collaboration with Craft Club Orlando. If you’ve been to one of our clothing swaps, this is a great opportunity to upcycle swap items! Bring your own clothes that maybe you’ve become a bit bored with or would just like to reimagine. We will provide you with embroidery, stitching and stamping material to do just that! We will have some guides assisting individuals throughout the event, and we also encourage you to bring any craft materials that you would like to share (or just for yourself is cool too)!

Celebrate Women

Join us for the annual Garden She Grows event in partnership with Poder LatinX and Dress for Success to honor Mothers and Mother Earth through a community celebration! Attendees will be able to participate in a guided tour of their urban farm to learn about regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming techniques. The experience will include a hands-on planting activity where each Mother will receive a free pot and herb seeds to start their own organic garden at home! Please bring clothing donations of lightly used sneakers and professional shoes for this event. Join Sustainable Sisters and The Collective Corner of Orlando for our first clothing swap of 2026, taking place in Founders Square in Avalon Park, Orlando.

Check-in and drop-off will take place at the front of the event, where clearly marked collection bins will be available. After the swap concludes, any remaining clothing will be donated to local thrift stores, ensuring that all items continue to benefit the community.
